2005

American Gaming Systems is founded, focused on Class II slot machines for tribal gaming markets.

2014

Acquires Cadillac Jack, strengthening its Class II and Mexico footprint and gaining a seasoned R&D team to support expansion into the North American Class III market. Also acquires social casino company RocketPlay, marking the start of the Interactive division. Debuts first table progressive, Bonus Spin.

David Lopez is named President and CEO. AGS acquires Colossal Gaming, emerges as a Class III slot supplier, and launches its Tables division. Officially rebrands to “AGS” and introduces a new logo.

2016

AGS launches Orion Portrait, AGS’ first proprietary slot cabinet

2018

Completes IPO. Enters real-money online gaming (RMG) and releases its first proprietary card shuffler, Dex S,
expanding into table utilities.

Launches Starwall, AGS’ first scaled premium slot product, marking a major step in the company’s commercial premium growth and competitive positioning in the market.

Following its acquisition by Brightstar Capital Partners, AGS returns to private ownership with a renewed focus. Now a competitive force in Class II, Class III, and HHR slots spanning all cabinet form factors; award-winning table progressives; a complete shuffler business; and a leading supplier of real-money online games across multiple categories, AGS unveils a bold new brand identity and enters a new era of innovation, growth, and international expansion.
