Game Description

Top 5 Poker is an exciting game where each Player and the Dealer are dealt 7 cards to get as many of the five highest-ranking cards of a deck (A/K/Q/J/10) as possible. The 2-9 cards are ignored. Players win by having more of the five highest-ranking cards of a deck (A-10) than the Dealer. Standard card rankings (A>K>Q>J>10) are used to break ties between hands with the same number of the five highest-ranking cards.

Rules of Pay

  1. Players wager a mandatory Ante bet and any optional bonus bet(s).
  2. All Players and the Dealer receive 7 cards dealt face down and want the most of the five highest-ranking cards of a deck (A-10) to win.
  3. After seeing their cards, Players must wager a Play bet equal to 1x their Ante or fold. Only the five highest-ranking cards of a deck (A-10) matter and players will discard all other cards.
  4. After all Players have acted on their hands, the Dealer will reveal his 7 card hand. The Dealer qualifies with Queen-Jack or better. (Ex: the Dealer qualifies with any hand containing three or more of the five highest-ranking cards of a deck (A-10)). The Dealer qualifies with any two of the five highest-ranking cards of a deck (A-10), if these two cards contain an Ace or King, Q-Q, or Q-J).
  5. If the Dealer does not qualify, all remaining Ante bets push.
  6. If the Player hand beats the Dealer hand, the Player wins even money on the Play and qualified Ante bets.
  7. If the Dealer hand beats the Player hand, the Player loses the Play and qualified Ante bets.
  8. If the Player and Dealer hands tie, the Play and qualified Ante bets both push. Standard card rankings (A>K>Q>J>10) are used to break ties between hands with the same total number of the five highest-ranking cards of a deck (A-10).
  9. The Top 5 Bonus pays odds on the total amount of A-10 cards in the Player’s hand.
  10. The Poker Bonus pays odds on the poker ranking of the five highest-ranking cards (A-10) only.
